Andrew Owens, the founder of Lagom, has dedicated the last 17 years of his life to working with young people and children in various educational and social care settings.
In addition to this, he has also been coaching boxing for many years. Over the years, Andrew has built strong relationships with associates across a wide range of services and agencies, which has helped him develop a unique and therapeutic provision for young people.

We also recognise the pressure faced by local authorities and social workers across the country when they need to find a suitable placement in an emergency situation due to a placement breakdown or lack of regulated homes.

We acknowledge that some young people under our care may have missed out on significant portions of their education, and we aim to bridge those gaps by providing support with school and college work.

As well as Eastham Country Park and Woods, the Lowfields, close to Eastham Rake Station, is the start of a guided walk suggested by Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council, following Dibbinsdale Brook and leads onto the Wirral Way.
Dibbinsdale is a local nature reserve and Dibbinsdale Brook and Clatter Brook run through the Brookhurst area of Eastham and into Bromborough. There is also a private golf club, Eastham Lodge, a mature parkland course with views across the River Mersey.

Oxton was once one of the most affluent areas in England mainly due to its proximity to Liverpool and the fact that along with various other Wirral locations, it was a favourite residential area for wealthy Liverpool merchants and tradesmen of the time.
Oxton Village is a mainly early Victorian era settlement with fine sandstone and brick built houses, many of which now form part of a conservation area designated in April 1979 and administered by the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral.
A significant part of the land on which Oxton is situated was part of the Estate of the Earl of Shrewsbury. This has been commemorated over the years in many of the road names, which bear the family names and titles of the various Earls: Alton Road, Beresford Road, Chetwynd Road, Ingestre Road, Shrewsbury Road, Talbot Road, Waterford Road and Wexford Road.
